Privacy

This notice explains what personal data is processed when you visit this website or contact us.

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:

Beran Solutions – Karl Beran
Pfalzgasse 10
74542 Braunsbach
Email: kontakt@beran-solutions.de

2. Hosting and server logs

When you access this website, the web hosting provider processes technical connection data needed to deliver and secure the website. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, status message, referrer, browser type and operating system.

This processing is necessary to provide the website and prevent or investigate disruptions and attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating the website securely and reliably. The data is deleted when it is no longer needed for these purposes, unless it must be retained to investigate a security incident.

The recipient is the technical service provider responsible for hosting. Where this provider processes personal data on our behalf, the applicable data processing agreement governs that processing.

3. Contact form

When you use the contact form, we process the information you enter: your name and email address, and optionally your company and subject, as well as the message itself. The form asks for your consent to this processing. Your information is sent through the web server by email to kontakt@beran-solutions.de so we can respond to your enquiry.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. If your enquiry concerns entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by email. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We retain your message for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry. We then delete it unless statutory retention obligations apply or further storage is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Please do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us directly by email or phone, we process your contact details and the content of your enquiry to respond. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters; otherwise, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. The deletion principles described above apply.

5. Google Fonts

This website uses fonts provided through Google Fonts. When the fonts load, your browser connects to Google servers. Technical connection data, including your IP address and information about your browser and requested font file, is sent to Google. Google states that the Fonts API does not use cookies and processes information to provide the fonts. For more information, see the Google Fonts FAQ and Google's Privacy Policy.

The fonts are used to present the website consistently and clearly. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a consistent design and readable presentation. Data may be transferred to Google outside the European Union. Google provides information about its services and international data transfers in its privacy policy.

6. Cookies and analytics

At present, this website does not use analytics or marketing tools and does not set its own cookies to track visitors. This does not affect technical processes necessary to provide the website.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access your personal data and request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, contact us at kontakt@beran-solutions.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Baden-Württemberg, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
